Hi guys,
Just installed Linux mint 9 on my Asus 1201ha netbook with intel gma500 graphicscard. Altough I installed the driver via this link, https://wiki.ubuntu.com/HardwareSupport ... dsPoulsbo/, I only can hear sound if I play a movie. Also, I cannot change the visual effects for my desktop. It's al greyed out.
Maybe switching to Linux mint 8 should do the trick? As it seems to support 3D with this crappy intel card.

Never mind the videoplayback. When I use Gnomeplayer, and put the output to X11 it works 
And guess I have to live with the rest. See what happens when I upgrade to Linux mint 10 final.
