Whats the difference between the ATI Drivers Web Vs Repo
What is the differences between the ATI Drivers from Ati's website and the one found in the REPO. Both install catalyst and seem to work, but whats the difference and the recommendation?

The ones in the repos are typically tested and approved by the Linux community. Not always but mostly. The shouldn't be any real difference but I recommend that you go with the repo choice first. In your case it appears they both work so your good. If it is in the repos that means most people have been able to get it to work on their system. Just something to think about.
