Disable HDMI on nVidia 8400GS?
I have a SB Live! for main sound, installed a 1gig nVidia 8400GS running out of the VGA port. I can get system sounds, but streaming audio from the Internet and DVD audio is not coming through. How do I disable the HDMI audio from the nVidia and simply use the SB Live! ?

IIRC I went into sound prefs via right clicking the volume icon and selected the non-HDMI device in the output tab.
The choices were pretty obvious, and they stuck. No nefarious blacklist magic or config edits were needed for my setup. Good luck!
