Hi, please tell me, how Linux Mint is built. It´s built from Ubuntu alternative CD (setup on clem pc , instal software...) or there is other way?
... Why there isn´t easy way to change repository from English server to national server (CZ)? Can i use czech repository from Ubuntu systems?

If you go into synaptic, you should be able to set the repository server more locally. There is a button that allows searching for the most optimum repository server.
