Documentation for Mint 16 KDE

Postby pe1800 on Mon Feb 10, 2014 11:45 am

Just installed Mint, for the first time, Mint 16 KDE. I would like to download the documentation. However, I do not see documentation for version 16, only as far as version 15. Guess is not ready yet, is a lot of work, I know.

Question: Will it make much of a difference, that is, will version 15 of the documentation fit the bill?

Thank you for your advice,

Linux Mint is funded by ads and donations.

The Linux Mint User Guide for Linux Mint 15 is also usable for Linux Mint 16. Amongst others, it covers installation of Linux Mint and how to to install and update software. It will look a little different from the screenshots, but applies to the KDE release as well.

For KDE specific documentation, if you open your menu and go to Applications, at the bottom of the list (scroll as needed) you'll find Help. That takes you to the KDE Help Center where lots of documentation is available for KDE applications and settings. Online you can find further documentation for KDE and its applications in the KDE User Base: http://userbase.kde.org/Welcome_to_KDE_UserBase
