Mint linux seems like a very nice distribution. I'm using Ubuntu right now and I was wondering these MintDesktop, MintWifi, and etc.. what programming language do you use? I'm just curious. I went over to Mint3D and it seems to me that you code in Python?

I'm anxiously waiting for Cassandra. I was also hoping if you guys can add some modular that make it easier to set up KVM for window xp and other OS.

Linux Mint is funded by ads and donations.

Python, Unix shell, Perl, GTK, whatever's most appropriate for the job. Scripting languages are cool because they save the hassle of being compiled and having the source code distributed (people can look into scripts, don't need to know how to build the projects, etc etc...).

I might use Java in the future if it becomes more integrated with KDE/Gnome. It's open source now so we can expect it to improve very fast.
