ultra light mint

Postby trippboxer on Fri Apr 06, 2007 12:47 am

i have used all kinds of distros, the debian based have been my favorite though. one thing i like about some distros is that they make a light version to work on older pc's or to improve on speed. is there any planning for an ultra light mint that could run xfce and still have all of the codecs?

Linux Mint is funded by ads and donations.

no, what the topic starter means is a version for older computers. Currently, there is an work being done on an edition with XFCE and codecs.

Any plans for a Fluxbox edition? Maybe Linux Mint CLI Server? :-P

Sorry I'm just having a laugh.
