Hello root,
I noticed today that I had 60 updates for language packs which are of no use to me.
Suggestion: Could not the extra languages to be installed be determined during the installation of the CD to the hard disc?
To be more specific, once the preferred language is selected before the installation, the rest of the languages could be removed.
I think, if I remember correctly, this was in the past done by a certain Ubuntu Beta version.
Besides saving space on the HDD, one does not have to download unnecessary updates.
I wonder, could this be done?
Regards, npap
