Being somewhat lazy I'm thrilled about Mint. Entering the color internets' world of sound and vision without the pain other distros might put one through to get all of it working has been a wonderful experience so far. Thank you for that.
There might be one minor bummer, however. Upon install, choosing a non-English language I'm used to Ubuntu installing 3rd party software (e.g. OpenOffice and the Gimp) in the preferred language. Of course I might have missed something, but Mint doesn't seem to do this: all software is English.
