[SOLVED] Cannot load avatar

I've tried uploading some images (within the size limits) to different sites, but cannot load from any site as my avatar here on the Mint forum...

Like several others here I've found that Photobucket works well for this. I got a one year account with unlimited uploads and storage for just $25 US. Uploading is easy and they provide a direct link URL for downloading images.

I have been able to load my Avatar with Picasa, I do not know if you have tried that one but it does work for me. I hope this helps.

i find $25 for uploading an avatar a bit expensive... but thanks for the suggestion

still no joy... my avatar is 100x89 and 4kb... why can't i upload it from picasa either???

never mind, just found out i need to use the link for embedded... thanks for the help guys

If you don't want to pay, you can upload a limited amount of pictures for free.

I don't off hand know what they allow, but I used this method at first to get my avatar on the forum.

Then I started posting screenshots of my desktop and using screenshots as examples when answering questions, so I sprang for the contract.
