Suggestions & Feedback

This is a characteristic of the Ubutu/Kubuntu live CD that was inherited by Linux Mint:
At installation, you click F4 to set the resolution preference , for example, to 1024x768 32. But when you start the installation, the screen resolution goes to 1280x1024 by default.

This high resolution results in very minute, hard to read, fonts. Unless. of course, you have a 19" monitor.
Of course, you can change the general setting to 1024x768 or anything you wish, later.

But the login screen always goes to 1280x1024. This, I believe, may sometimes cause freezing if your monitor and your graphics card can't handle it.
And only resetting the PC and starting in Rescue Mode, you can log in.
(My monitor is a 17" generic type),

The question is: could 1024x768 be set as the default login resolution in Bianca?

Hi npap,

This the kind of things I'd rather leave to Ubuntu at the moment. Don't hesitate to file a bug report for them if you feel this improvement would make their distribution better.
