And what if the end user doesn't? Obviously there is no way of knowing. If you still want the fonts it's very easy to install them afterwards with Synaptic. Even Novell don't distribute these fonts with their products -- and they are supposed to have some sorts of agreement with Microsoft. In all Novell/SUSE products these fonts are offered as "online update" after the installation.

It's safer to stay way from Microsoft's IP anyways.
