Are there plans for linux mint to also have a purchase section like ubuntus, where one can buy apps and game that are not free?

I don't know, but I prefer a full separation between my OS and any purchases I make. I don't like the Apple way of things, and IMHO Ubuntu is going the wrong way and making the OS a target for malware (I think it is a lot more interesting platform to malware designers if they can steal credit card data from any user who use it). There are lots of alternatives to the Ubuntu purchases from their Software Center and more and more online shops are offering Linux purchases also (for example; Indievania, Gameolith).
