No question. Just thanks.
Stripped Kubuntu and installed fresh copy of Mint 11 last night. Everything works with no major hassles. Got it all tweeked-up like I like it. Much improved over Mint 8. Been using Linux for 9 years now and so far this is the best distro I've tried. Not a fan boy per se', I just like it when it works. That's all. Carry on.

Thanks I appreciate the welcome. Like i said no problems so far and don't expect any. been a while since Gnome but getting back into the groove. I thought about LMDE but figured I'd better hang back since I run my shop from this box. I may try it on an experimental box I have. Anyway, really decent variant you have here. Very impressed. see ya round.
