Best Version Of Mint For Web Browsing?

Hi

I've been given an old PC, cant remember model but i know its middle of the range. I want to use it only for browsing the web. A colleague advised me to install mint on it. Which version is going to work best for this purpose?

If you have 1024MB of RAM or more and a 3D capable graphic card use Mint 13 Cinnamon LTS. If you don't have a 3D capable graphic card use Mint 13 MATE LTS.

If you have less than 1024MB of RAM try a lighter and faster edition of Mint like Mint 12 LXDE, LMDE XFCE or the future Mint 13 XFCE LTS.
