Hello,

With Gnome 2 discontinued, will the traditional lower panel still be there? One thing that annoyed me with unity is that you couldn't easily get to a particular window with the unity bar. Will that ability be lost with Mint 14?

Also, what happens with compiz, is that forever lost with Gnome 2? Currently running Mint Mate 13, compiz doesn't work and Variety doesn't have that smooth transition wallpaper that I had with Ubuntu and Wally.

Lastly will MDM stay the same for the login screen (I really want to keep my custom login screen)?

BTW: who can I contact for suggestions when it comes to the Mint Distribution?
