as of now ubuntu 12.10 does not work with the acerone netbook, will linuxmint 14 work? cin or mate?

it will boot then nothing. blank screen, will not reconise the display drivers to aspireone, and mint14 will boot but the screen is dim with xserver error in text mode.

Hello.
i try ubunt 12.10 for just a test run on my notebook/laptop and crashed.
Had get a new mother board. I am hope Mint get rid of this problem.

linux mint 14 - I give your a two thumps down: cinnamon display errors. Boots fine on live cd, but soon as you install it i get xserver errors, I tried looking up fixes and still nothing. Everyone knows about it but no patches or fixes. What the "F"?? Ubuntu 12.10 won't even boot on live cd. every one knows about it too and nothing.
why? Do do this. are you trying to lose users?
