Linux Format 8 page article on Linux Mint! (free online)

Postby xenopeek on Sat Jan 05, 2013 6:34 pm

Linux Format magazine issue 167 (February 2012), which was just released yesterday, has an 8 page article titled "Mighty Mint". The article covers Linux Mint's history back from the first release, the different goals of Linux Mint and Ubuntu, the rise of MATE and Cinnamon, the MintBox, and closes with some thoughts on its DistroWatch ranking. What seeps through all the pages is that it has been quite a journey to bring Linux Mint from its early beginnings to today. Where Clem is quoted, he is as balanced in his views as ever, making it a pleasure to read.

To those that have read it, let's hear your thoughts :D

That has to be the most comprehensive coverage of Mint I've read.

Excellent article, makes me wonder why I want to distro-hop as much as I do.
I don't really like tablet computers, but I guess they are inescapable eventually......
