Qamra = "moon" in Greek

Or how about a derivative... "Qamara" = which supposedly also means "moon", but in Arabic... i'm not Arabic (nor Greek for that matter), but I was looking through a site that has a list of names for baby girls and this one came up and it sounded really nice to me... well, both do...

Linux Mint 17 Qamara..... oh yeah! 8)
My setup:
*Linux Mint 13 XFCE 32-bit (Until the next LTS release)
    *Linux Mint 15 XFCE (RC) 32-bit (Tried...Failed)
    *Compaq Presario V2000 (from 2006) - Intel 1.5GHz (Pentium M) - 2 GB RAM - Intel 82852/855GM integrated video (i915)- WiFi

You don't like Quataryna ? :)

+1 for Quataryna, it's widely used in many languages (though a bit modified, depending on the language) and it's just simply beautiful.

I like Quintessa, Querida and Quentina. :)
And yeah, this should definitely be a poll-topic.

I'm voting for Querida.
I believe it's an appropriate name for a Long Term Support release! :D

How about we skip the letter Q, I mean, do we really have to stick to this alphabetical order. What happens after we run out of letters, begin with A all over again of course so why not do away with the ones that leave us such cumbrous options. :)

I'm seeing a lot of support for Qayla, and with its Irish heritage, it would seem appropriate what with Mint HQ having moved from France to Ireland. My 2¢ worth

I thought, what better name for Mint 17?..

So my nomination for the code name for the next LTS version of Linux Mint (17) is Querida.

+1 on Qia (if the above translation is correct, I didn't check it)

so many Q- names are kinda weird, hard to say, and difficult to relate to. Not the impression you want to give. I like the simplicity of Qia a lot.

My vote is for Quiana, American Indian for silky, as in silky smooth, as in Mint 17?

Second choice, but powerful, is Querida, a generic loving name, could be for mistress, is Spanish in origin. Mi amor, mi querida, mi Mint!!!!
