Does Mint needs Java developer?

Hi all, I've seen that Mint needs python dev but I'm not very easy with this.
My job is java, web and desktop.
I would be glade to help a project but I'don't know if there is a specific java app close to mint that needs help ?

Development of most Linux Mint tools is indeed done in Python. Cinnamon is done in C. Cinnamon applets, desklets and extensions are developed in JavaScript + CSS, so you might find that aligns with your skills? There are of course various open source projects using Java, but Linux Mint doesn't have any projects using Java.

Could always create some java software stuff as open source I'm sure a ton of projects could be created that could be useful or even some games.
