OMFG, ... basically
Dear Lord, I thought XFCE was good, but KDE has been an eyegasm for me. Most delicious thing ever! Detected all my hardware. Graphics performance is absolutely flawless! I feel like my GPU is being properly used, now. Sound is absolutely crisp! Things load uber fast. Elegance. Beauty. Just, ... wow. After about 5 minutes on the KDE Live DVD, I had pretty much decided to scrap my Linux setup, of which I spent ages getting "just right". User-friendly doesn't even cut it. To me, it feels a bit like the elegance of Mac, the comfort and ease of Windows, and the functionality of Linux.
Just wanted to share that.

Sounds great with the good graphics and sound but it is not recognizing the "L" on your keyboard. Or could that be the pure excitement spelling?

LOL Dammit, sorry, I was too used to saying XFCE as I used to use that, but yes, I meant KDE. I'm still using it, and STILL utterly loving it.

I wish it was so easy. These days you have to do it in about:config Trying it now with "none" to see how the rest of the world looks.741cc wrote:Just hit the Esc key....by Crewp
