I have set a dual-boot of Linux Mint 13 LTS Mate and Ubuntu 12.04 LTS. i HAVE A 3G mobile broadband dongle and I live far from the city center and usually i face problems with my internet connection type falling back into EDGE one that i have to switch between OSes to get the best out of it. The results were suprising Linux Mint 13 detects 3g connections far better than Ubuntu which detects it only at night. Adding that to software compatibility i would say Linux Mint 13 LTS is the best OS ever out and is far better than Ubuntu 12.04 LTS in many ways
