minty background

Hey,

Just wanted to say im pretty impressed with the Linux mint distro. I was thinking about the background included with bianca. The zen theme. I like it a lot, but, couldn't help feel it was a bit girly ?? yes and no...i agree its relaxing and not too "in your face" image.. So here is my take on that theme..

I wanted a man in the scene doing something more manly i suppose lol.
Its (supposed to be) a kung fu master doing his meditation.

Well its really a picture i took of myself, edited it in gimp then over to inkscape and from there applied colour's, smoothing and lots other processing fun stuff. His nose and chin are a bit funky at the moment Its my screen resolution 1280 by 800. Naturally it can be output to different resolutions...though I think one is enough to show it

thx for the comments... its motivated me to update with a slightly modified version. Kinda KDE blue theme. I re-traced the kung-fu master in inkscape

Good job tank, but would be better with the "official" fonts (Linux Mint Bianca) and logo.

A propos logo, carlos I encourage you to develop a new logo, warm and friendly, starting from your idea and actual version.
You know I am fan of your work (zen-woman in blue at this time but the colour of the girl change once a week )
