201402 move now to 201403

Postby mike acker on Wed Mar 19, 2014 1:39 pm

LMDE/Mint 201402 was the Release Candidate for Mint 201403

Mint 201403 is available now -- I just got the ISO downloaded

is 201402 subject to the "rolling update" process -- or -- should I install 201403
I want to participate in the Rolling Update

You shouldn't have to reinstall LMDE. I think you're good. I posted this question myself right on these forums not long ago. For one thing, if you start Update Manager you can click on "Update Pack Info". If it shows UP8 you've got the latest thing.

This will show you your version info from the terminal window.
cat /proc/version

Just to be sure try...
apt dist-upgrade
There's no Windows in my house. And it's a brighter and happier place now.
LMDE 64-bit MATE Edition. Please edit your first post and add SOLVED to the Subject if you get it resolved.

It's about halfway down in this thread. viewtopic.php?f=90&t=160121#p825839 It was my first post, so if some of it sounds stupid, well.

Look for Bugs Bunny.
