Mate 17 is Grate
I've been using Mint 99.9% of the time on my PC, but Windows on my Laptop. There were a few reasons; one of which was the fan was always roaring away full blast on laptop. That has stopped in 17. I like everything about Mint 17 except for my scanner (an Epsom Artesan 810 All in one), which I can't get to work. The printer works fine (wirelessly). Oh well I don't use it that often; will have to resort to Windows when i do.
