I use Linux Mint on two separate partitions, one of them the new Felicia x64 . On both I use Opera:
Version 9.63
Build 2474
Platform Linux
System x86_64, 2.6.27-7-generic
Qt library 3.3.8b
Java Java Runtime Environment installed
on the other one the same but for System i686, 2.6.27-7-generic.
On the x86_64 system the java applets don't work although Java Runtime Environment is installed, the i686 system is okay.
Anybody a suggestion?
N.B. I need the x64 version as otherwise Googleearth vanishes.

This is apparently a known issue with 64-bit Opera versions since 9.50 probably still there in version 10

Hey, java now works in Opera 9.64! It doesn't work in the Alpha version of 10 though.
