Nope..

http://vtiger.com/
--you mean this

The download is either a source file which you would have to compile for your system
--and you would need the minimum of the build-essential package for Mint

Or it is the .bin file
--what web site instructions have you used in order to run this file ?
their manual installation guide is online..
http://wiki.vtiger.com/index.php/vtiger ... n_on_Linux

Code: Select all

For the convenience of first time users, vtiger CRM is bundled with compatible versions of Apache, MySQL, and PHP. Follow the procedure given below to install the complete package of vtiger CRM:
1.Download vtigerCRM510 Bin ----> vtigercrm510 bin
2.Log in as a root user.
3.Grant execute permission to run the vtigercrm-510 bin file
#chmod 777 vtigercrm-5.1.0.bin
4. Run the vtigercrm-5.1.0.bin file as given below:
#./vtigercrm-5.1.0.bin
Please read the license agreement and enter Y to start the installation process or N to abort the installation.
In mint you can get root (#) privilege by using sudo chmod; and in prefixing the command lines given with sudo
--or instead of doing it for each command line, you can use sudo -s; all in the terminal display
mint menu>Applications>Terminal

Stupid question: Do you have the LAMP stack installed? vTiger is a php application that runs on a web server -- you need to get Apache/MySQL/php set up first...
