Not using SMP, even on my C2D work box. Using 2 clients in 2 separate folders. Then I can start/stop them as needs be. When both running they load up both cores equally. Just remember to go into advanced settings and set m/c id to 1 and 2.

Hey guys!

Great to meet other folders!

I've been folding for years, and I'd love to join your team, but I'm heavily involved in another team.

Cheers! 8)

I think we could do with a few more folders to keep us moving up the scoreboard, so to this end I have recorded a video to show potential Folders how easy it is to install and run. :D

Hi guys and gals, we have finally broken into the top 10,000 of 75,359 teams worldwide, Congratulations and keep up the good work. Not bad for a 5 man team. Seriously though we could do with MORE members.

Welcome to the newest member "alexandr" now there are 6 members in the team. Still could do with more "Minties" folding! We should be braking into the top 8000 teams in the world soon.

thomasmoens you seem to have been stuck on 5 wu's for a long time, are you having problems?

Well,

Isn't my world small? I'm a Biochemist that sort of took on a role that let me to 80+ countries around the world. I've worked for the big Rx/Dx companies. Plus, a lot of smaller guys.

I can spell PCR, and have met Kary Mullis, and seen 2 other Nobel guys speak.

I've grown used to computing, it took a while. LOL! Like learning Linux, and opensource has been a pleasure.

What can I do for you over here?

Just about to drop into the sub 7000 teams in the world, and all this with a 6 man team. Come on you Mintyites join the team! Then we can climb even higher up the rankings. Very encouraging for a team that only started on June 14th, barely 3 months ago! We need more members if we are to continue this meteoric rise. Meanwhile congrats to the present members and keep up the relentless folding. :D

I am new to linux and am expecting to have my thinkpad on Tuesday. I was hoping for today but no such luck. Anywa - I am in if someone is willing to walk me through the command line stuff i need to get it working. I looked at that befopre when i first dabbled in linux and there were instructions that I just could not follow for linux to get it all happening.

as a team is there any stipulation as to which project you choose or anyone is OK?

Thank you.
