The latest editition of the excellent swedish magazine Datormagazin (swedish only) has an article on wireless in Linux.
They state"....., it's better to choose a distribution with better tools like Ubuntu or Linux Mint. The latter makes it really simple in the later versions"

Seems like you have some computer-magazines with quality there, neighbour. 
...we don't. =( One of our mag's wrote so many lies about Windows Vista, how it's faster than any other OS you can have on the PC today...
