As always Clem. You are "da mang" :D Always the gentleman and scholar.

Also I just wanted to add, that It was NiksaVel who really started the mint art project. I was contributing before it was ever started, but nik was the driving force to getting the site up and keeping the drive going.

All in all Clem, you have a good group of people around you to support you in this project. Let me just say thanks on behalf of all of us. :D

I spotted the interview just after waking up (with four hours sleep) after an all-nighter configuring my new setup!
Interesting because Clement explains why I'm so pleased with it -- which I'd not quite known.
Pleasing, too, to see that Clement doesn't look like the broken-toothed, gaunt Mandrake developers of 10 years ago I'd see in candid photos displaying while that distro's install proceeded back then.
Congratulations, Clement! -- I'm sure this publicity is great for both you and the distro.

Seeing the child made me sad because I imagined a scenario like this...

Girl: Daddy come and play

Clem: Sorry, but Daddy has to finish Mint 3.1

*Girls starts to cry*

Great interview.

Great to see Clem is a family man. Very cute daughter.

BTW, I have a daughter named Maia (different spelling, same pronuciation) as well, 5 years old.

Also, I loved Bianca, and I'm currently downloading Cassandra - 9 minutes left, can't wait.

Question for Clem:

In the interview, you say you're a Java dev with a telecom for your day job.

Being a developer myself, who uses Java (among other things), I'm curious what type of Java stuff you're doing.

Since it's a telecom, it's probably large scale, so I assume you're doing Java Enterprise stuff. What kind of stuff? WebLogic, WebSphere, JBoss, Spring, Struts, JSF, Hibernate, etc??

Just curious. You're obviously a talented developer (What better evidence than Linux Mint?), and obviously doing Java Enterprise stuff would sharpen those skills.

Jeff: answered in PM.

Poision: It's just a silly joke with the name "Maya".. which could be used for release 13.0.
