distrowatch ranking

Post by Alephcat »

In the Distrowatch section of this months Linux Format (UK magazine) it has the top 10 most visited between 9 Nov - 8 Dec 06. Linux Mint is a No.4 with 1069 hits behind Ubuntu, SUSE, and Fedora Core. It is also the only riser, all others either stayed in position or fell.

We average out to the number 3 spot. Our ranking goes up and down slightly depending on when we release editions and when other popular distributions release. Distrowatch rankings are not conclusive but it gives us some idea of how we are doing. Our raking is completely different on other sites.
