I actually agree with the video. However, this just showcases where Unity shines. There are definitively use cases where gnome 2x is much better. Personally though until you try unity for a few weeks (not a few hours) you will end up actually end up appreciating the added enhancements.

Any this versus that comparison is dependent on so many individual factors that a one shot video is almost irrelevant. I suspect someone else could produce another video and end up with entirely different results. Bottom line it all comes down to individual users. Enjoy
