Has anyone tried snowlinux?

http://www.snowlinux.de/

It's rising up on distrowatch. The reason I ask is because Mint LXDE and XFCE is starting to be too big for my 4G 701 eee laptop. Eventually I'll need
to upgrade - right now I have Mint LXDE 10. snowlinux looks user-friendly and have everything (correct me if wrong). And need 2GB.

Your thought?

Linux Mint is funded by ads and donations.

It's uncanny how many threads regarding Asus EEE 701 4G are popping up lately, just when I switched distros on the very same machine myself :)
I haven't tried Snow Linux, but I have recently installed Bodhi and am very pleased. It works very fast on 701's modest hardware and looks great on the small screen. So, if you're in the mood for distro-shopping, give Bodhi a go.

Sorry for the non-answer. Hope you still find it useful.

I just botted the liveCD snowlinux 2 LDXE and XFCE and veteod. It does automatically detect proprietary wifi devices like Mint - you have to hassle abit (and I'm lazy).
Otherwise it is nice.

drumBE, I use #! on my dinosaur desktop, namely, because I can't use a lightweight desktop. On the eee, I would like to.
