Which modern linux desktop most closely resembles the traditional OS styles?
I'm thinking the following:
Microsoft Windows > KDE
Apple OS > Cinnamon
Unix/Xwindow > MATE
Other > xfce/lmde
I'm not sure if that is correct, so I am looking for more input; also there are other desktops I am unfamiliar with, like Unity ... would these desktops be more similar to Apple or to Microsoft, or other?
KDE > MS Windows
Unity > Apple OS
Cinnamon > Windows 7 ??
please chime in if you have an opinion
Desktop Style: Linux/Unix, Apple, Microsoft, Other?
