Infinality .DEB package

I'm thinking about making a .DEB package for the Infinality Freetype patches. I'm following the .DEB packaging instructions here. But I'm a bit confused. The font patches consist of two files; freetype-infinality and fontconfig-infinality. I don't know what modifications to the packaging instructions I have to make in order to package both files. Could somebody give me a few pointers?

Edit: uh, I'm not sure if this is considered a support question or not. If it is could somebody move this to a more appropriate part of the forum? Thanks.
