Am I the only one who ever thought this? Infact, am I the only one to even like Gnome for what it is?

I love KDE because of it's customizability. I love Gnome because it's hotspots and overview menu looks cool and impresses my friends.
Then I had a thought: Why not put them together? A DE with the awesomeness of KDE and the futurism of Gnome!
Am I the only one who ever thought this? Infact, am I the only one to even like Gnome for what it is?
