It's becoming easier to install Linux on a Chromebook, so for $250 it is starting to look interesting. Just as the Nexus range of Android devices can run Linux and are cheap. It's not interesting to me as long as it runs ChromeOS or Android

But I can see the appeal as it is clearly aimed at those looking for an appliance. With Android accounting for over 40% of last years over 1 billion sold computing devices, ChromeOS might end up in the statistics this year also...
