Which has more community support? Linux Mint or Ubuntu?

I use Mint but find Ubuntu forums helpful as well. If you can't find an answer in one community forum you might well find it on the other. :D

Of course Ubuntu, because it has a larger user base. Mint is based on Ubuntu so some tricks on Ubuntu may work on Mint and vice versa (especially when it comes to the terminal commands). But the default desktop environments of Ubuntu and Mint are different so some click-this click-that guides won't work.
Anyway, this community seems friendlier than Ubuntu's :)

They both have good support although the Ubuntu forum is large rthan the Mint forum. But that has to do with the reputation of Ubuntu.

Yep Ubuntu is bigger and searching for problem can yield helpful results. As fits the More user category.

Tho don't mention Mint if you are wanting answer as then a mod will move your thread to Other OS/Distro Talk.
Where less likely to get an answer.

Discussing the merits of other distros does the same here :) Ubuntu has a lot more users, and Canonical has hundreds of people on its payroll. Linux Mint on the other hand is dependent mostly on volunteers, but you should hopefully find this a welcoming, friendly, and helpful community.

And yes, you can also use the Ubuntu resources as Linux Mint is fully compatible. The Ubuntu wiki is useful; perhaps more so than the Ubuntu forums.
