I just started using this software, I wrongly thought that it was fairly new, but a quick forum search shows me that people were talking about it a couple of years ago, so it shows you how out of touch I am Anyhow, if like me, you haven't heard of it before now, it is well worth a look. It is basically unetbootin on steroids in that it produces a multiboot usb key with absolutely no fuss.

Great for trying out new iso's (they are easy to install, less than 5 minutes, and even quicker to remove again), or perfect for making that multi boot recovery cd you always wanted!

Tried this today, does not work for me. Does not look any thing like the gifs on the web site, does not recognise mounted flash drives - literately cant do a thing with it! Installed on Cinnamon 13/64.

I use Multisystem since many months and it works a lot better than Unetbootin. My purpose was to maintain a bootable usb pendrive containing multiple bootable iso files to choose from at second step. However I installed Multisystem on a Debian Wheezy 32bit netbook.

The (recommended) first install method to build the multiboot pendrive did the trick - do not forget to immediately install Plop Boot Manager which indeed does all the job when later booting from the pendrive. My current pendrive hosts Parted Magic, rescatux, RIPLinuX, Android 4.1 and Kali Linux (aka Backtrack).

Ok, Solved the problems.

1. Changed the USB - I always tell people to change the usb drive if they have problems - took me quite a while to follow my own advice. Clicked confirm and ...
2. Came up with an error (in french) - some thing about the label, it doesn't like spaces in the label (I think) so a quick change and got it to the main menu shown on the home page.

Yep it depends entirely on the I/O read performances of your pendrive. I use an OCZ Rally II and it is quite fast for that.
