good distro for setting up webserver in my university?

Postby nearownkira on Sat Jun 28, 2008 7:51 am

I am thinking of sharing my media collection through LAN in my university, is there a good Distro for me especially to set up a webserver to share my files without going through a steep learning curve.

Or Zenwalk - there is a really capable server edition!

Or debian, or Arch or Gentoo and the list goes on and on and on and on...
Though CentOS is a highly acclaimed server distro, the only downside is that they don't have professional support system, only community support.
