I think Plan9 (http://penguinpetes.com/b2evo/index.php ... &tb=1&pb=1.)
has a future, it is a radically different approach to an O/S and with a radically different GUI ontop it has huge potential ...

Anyone who works in a Windows environment in an IT support or installation role has to use the command line from time to time. It's definitely not just a *nix thing.
