Hello to all.

Here´s a sugestion of a new Linux software portal that i´ve been working for the past year and a half on my spare time.

This is a place for promotion of the best Linux software. Either commercial or open source.
You can find plenty of useful software and games in here.

Most of the software has an apt link.. so just click to install.

The site is still on beta stage (has been online for about two monts only) but is quite usable.

Feel free to visit and post a comment if you wish.

Hi to all.

I´m very sorry that the site was down all this time.

The hosting server has vanished from the face of the earth along with the domain name.
After a couple of weeks trying to communicate with them to at least get my domain name back i had no response. I gave up and bought another domain. This time on a reliable server.
Thank God i had a backup.. That´s what we get with cheap hosting services.

So.. here´s the new domain. Enjoy.. and sorry for the downtime.

Nice design! Your effort seems much better than when Linspire tryed this. Your organising of software looks good and everything is consistent. Thanks for sharing!

Looks pretty decent to me. Nice layout. I bookmarked it to check out more thoroughly when I have time.

Amazing presentation and selection f software +1 !

I can see that a lot of love and care has been put into this project.

As explained clearly in the help section, you will need to install the apturl package to be able to install from the website.

The link to your website does not work anymore, tried googling it, but unfortunately no luck, as the link does appear, but does not load. Is the website down? This is a real shame as I enjoyed browsing the apps there.

The creator and maintainer of the site contacted me to say that the servers hosting his website are down. He is very much keeping the project alive and is hoping to be online again soon

While you are waiting for this site to get back up and running, you can visit my sites at www.linuxsoftwareportal.org and www.rolandarms.com. The first one is only Linux software and the second one is cross-platform software for Linix, MacOSX and Windows. I hope he gets his site up soon, as I want to check it out to see if there are some ideas I can use in mine.
