Salaries of Linux jobs raise 50%

Postby fwc on Sat Aug 08, 2009 10:20 am

According to this article, the salaries of Linux system administrators has increased by 50% in recent times. What level of skill do you need to be considered a professional Linux administrator? and what was the original salary level? If it was only 20,000 per year, that isn't much of an increase.

That's an advert for training courses from your link..
--just remember you also would need windows certifications as well to mix..

The most respected Linux certification is RHCE

--and others that may be of value..

For non vendor-specific it is LPI
