Columbus, Ohio will again host the Ohio Linux Fest, which this year runs from September 25-27.
The event will take place at the Hyatt Regency/Columbus Convention Center (they're linked), and feature well known speakers Shawn Powers (Linux Journal),

), Mackenzie Morgan (Ubuntu, Sysadmin for Rosetta Stone
), and, last but certainly not least, the keynote speaker,Dr. Douglas McIlroy, who developed UNIX pipes and UNIX tools such as spell, diff, sort, join, graph, speak and tr, as well as pioneering component based software engineering. Dr. McIlroy was at the head of Bell Laboratories Computer Techniques Research Department, contributing to the birth of UNIX.
