GNU/Linux freedom in software, food for thought.

Hello all, it has been a while since I read the very interesting pages that tell the history of how we got here today. The GNU software present on all GNU/Linux distros was developed with a certain philosophy in mind, one that companies might like us to forget:

Personally, this is one of the major reasons I use a GNU/Linux based OS, the freedom to change what I want, and to know the inner most workings of the OS I use to play and work with. When I have to deal with the restrictions of M or A OS, I feel a little sickened by it all at times.
