Out of curiosity, has anyone here downloaded it and successfully installed it in their machine? I downloaded it (img file, i renamed it as iso, as per instructions I found elsewhere), used unetbootin but it wouldn't load.

Worked for me, but lacks support for my Realtek RTL8187SE Wireless chipset so not much use. The Connman network manager doesn't support WPA-Enterprise either. You need to make sure you're running one of the few supported laptops/tablets or it won't work. The kernel has been stripped down quite a bit.
