CUPS bought by Apple!

CUPS was released under the GPL. If Apple messes too much with it someone will simply fork the code and e.g. create "FreeCUPS". Nothing is lost here. I gave information… and I am “afraid" always a little when companies as that buys things like CUPS or others.
Fear that they “destroy†the thing in question...

Once GPL, always GPL. No company can 'kidnap' the code. If it were that easy Microsoft would have done so already long ago -
