I was browsing Kernel.net this morning and found a couple of things I thought might interest some of you. One is a new write up of Mint 10 RC1, the other is an accelerator for apt-get that promises up to 26X faster downloads.
The article is abstracted from IT World and is titled "4 Reasons to Give Linux Mint 10 a Try". Read the complete article here.
The accelerator is apt-fast. It works with axel and is available for download from Unixmen.com here.
Hope someone out there gets some benefit from these tidbits.
