I don't use Ubuntu and I don't use the Software Center, but I think this is a victory for common sense if it is true:

Is they looking at a true rolling release or just a way to update Apps etc;
With their release record don't know if this would be any better

releasing bugs every week is not good

Anyway from what malspa posted it looks as if the rumour is untrue anyway.
