Hexxeh makes Chromium OS builds if you like to try it out http://chromeos.hexxeh.net/
I'm not too impressed by the OS. For one the 'apps' are just links to websites. You really can't do any kind of offline work as of yet, which to me makes it pretty useless. Then there is the whole Google Beast data mining thing. Would anyone really want Google to keep statistics on what they do on their computer?

Looks interesting, at least for those interested in the Google OS.
